U.S Currency:
The U.S currency is termed as U.S dollars or USD or American dollar. The U.S dollar is the most used in the world for any transactions happening around the world and it is one of the world’s dominant currencies. Thehistory of the U.S dollars is starting from 1792 under the Coinage Act of 1792. It was in the form of coin and slowly developed as paper. Initially, the Dollars will not have a President’s faces as of now. This culture had actually started only after the 20th Century. A Dollar has 100 equal smaller units called Cents.
Initially, the dollar had its own value as other countries currencies. It is the official currency USA & its territories. Slowly, the U.S Dollars is getting more & more value based on the economy growth of America and began to be a common currency for the World Trade. Most of the countries are transacting the Trades & Shares in the U.S. Dollar currency. Soon the value of the American Dollar is in the high value.
Based on the American economy & the Dollar value, shares & Trades flourishes in the USA and its economy is growing faster. As the result, more & more insurance companies also have been emerged in the USA. It is always to have a insurance in the sectors of Trades & Shares to avoid big losses. Because of the reason, the Insurance companies also flourished well in America.
The America is ruling the world now with its power of Economy. The Value of the Dollars is getting increases day by day against the other countries’ currencies. The Insurance sector, the Shares & trading sectors of USA also is growing day by day as most of the world’s transactions are happening in the U.S. Dollars. This is the great victory for U.S.A to be a dominant country of the world. Here, apart from the dollars history and value, let us see the different forms of the U.S. Dollars in the different periods. It is really a great pleasure to see & wonder the conquering currency.

Joe includes this photo - not by him, of the ship while under construction. Lifeboat davits are just being installed - and the forward part of the superstructure is still without ports. Photo most likely taken in the late summer 1951.
AFT VIEW
Aft View - Southampton Looking aft from the Cabin Class open deck in the Summer of '55. As passengers are about to board, crew members are busy loading hatches. In this part of the ship, baggage and mail would be loaded down in holds 4 and 5. You can make out a baggage handler standing on the working deck. In the center of the photo - the cylinder shaped object is the exhaust (muffler) for the aft emergency generator. Farther behind that you can just see the US Flag at the stern of the ship. |

It's 1956 and the SS UNITED STATES is at Southampton Docks in England. The ship towers nearby with A-Deck & Main Deck portholes.
